Shattered - Public!

Karpos' eyes were soft and gentle, a good mood upon him while he was alone in the fine winter day. He sat down gracefully, his tail not moving, not curled in dominance or curled in submission. He scoffed at the thought of him being submissive. He would rather die then to be submissive. He had many thoughts about him, he always did. There was one that sang out to the rest of his mind however. A home that served him, he wanted a pack to lead.

His white and creme coat that covered his huge body, it slightly bellowed in the wind. He imagined a pack where he gave out chastisement and other forms of penalties. A place he was to call home, instead of a loner, to rule over his people and make sure they knew where they laid. He would take no weakness into the pack if he started one. They would be loyal, or they would be exiled from the lands forever. But that was all in due time.

The dark and shaded trees that surrounded him counter acted with his white fur, but it was dark enough to not see him. He often watched his back, knowing that wise men wondered while strong men died. The weaker would sneak up on a wolf and attempt to murder them if they hadn't known they were there. That is why he hid in the shadows.

Little did everyone else know, there was no fixing this shattered wolf. He was gone to the wind, to the dark side. He saw no light at the end of the tunnel and he was going to stay that way.

Amber padded around the dark forest, her eyes scanning around. She was afraid of someone finding her, fearing for not her life, but their life. She would not be afraid of the tortures she could lay upon the souls of others. She simply could not fear anyone. The scent was stronger as she followed it, a male wolf's scent was recent and clear. She narrowed them as the snow crunched beneath her feet. She was not a happy camper. She was just frustrated about everything that had gone wrong. Her parents weren't suppose to die. Her pups were not suppose to be still born!

She came face to face with the male, and she did not speak much. Amber Shaperio hated conversations with other wolves, because Amber herself was not one to speak. "What do you want?" She snarled at the man, not even offering a name to him. He didn't deserve the honor of knowing her name. He was being analyzed and she reserved judgement on his soul. Hers was lost, she was too evil to be considerate or nice to this wolf. This was her showing her true personality.

Karpos' eyes gazed upon the female as she so rudely asked what his business was. This offended him and made him snarl a little bit. He stepped out of the shadows, showing his gleaming white fur. His eyes narrowed, he knew this wolf was an arrogant one. He figured that from the way she stood. His tail curled up above his body in dominance. He demanded submission from the female because she was lower then him. A snarl from his mouth that formed into words followed his tail curling and his hackles rising. "I demand to know what you are doing here. He retorted back to the female.

Karpos kept his thoughts organized and focused. He let another warning growl, trying to make himself look like the larger wolf there. He was, of course, larger then the female anyways. She was fierce and feisty, one that would be hard to get to submit. He would attack if he needed to, he needed to get some sense into her before he gave her the honor of knowing his name. He was one to be feared.

His instincts took over and he was not in control. He was demanding the respect and dominance from the girl in the trees, she was hidden by shadows and he wondered how she caught him. "Show yourself." He snarled, demanding to see her as her, with no shadows. The scars covered his pelt from his many battles.

Amber's eyes lit up with a fierce determination as soon as he began to be a complete jerk. She too raised her hackles and her tail curled, she stood tall. When he demanded to know what it was she was doing here, she responded the truth. "This is my home." She commented, her voice obviously filled with pure rage. She refused to step out of the shadows in which she hid. She had a bit of thought running through her mind. Some of it was on why he looked like that cursed devil that disappeared after she had loved him. But no, that wasn't him, this wolf had icy blue eyes, where as the heathen had amber ones.

Amber looked at him, the fierceness in his voice had made her gain small bits of respect from him. "Amber. Amber Shaperio." she said, her voice cautious for a brief second. This wolf was clearly a spade, not a heart nor a wold card. He was just a spade, a neutral. She ranked those wolves that she met into categories. Those categories were the wild cards, those who she knew not enough about to judge. The hearts, those that she could trust. The spades, those who obviously she had no side for. Then the heathens, they were the devils, ones she needed to get out of her life.

Karpos' eyes dug deep into her soul, he analyzed her and she seemed to calm down. This was her home, sure, like he'd never heard that one before. That one, he had heard so many times that he assumed it was a lie. "Can you prove that?" He questioned her, the respect of a name was given by her, he was not yet ready to give out his own name. He still had much to examine at the scene.

Karpos watched her movements, she repeated what he had done, he figured that she claimed it as her home just to pick a fight. In doing such a thing, he would make sure that she got a fight. He was ready to leap, but something held him back. His mother, she reminded him of his mother. Normally this would give him more of a reason to attack her, he hated his mother. But he could acknowledge that fact that she was not his mother and could not attack. What was wrong, was the evil he knew was in his soul, just like his great grandfathers, was it fading away?

There was something about those amber eyes and that fur, it made him pause and gain respect for her. He wasn't sure what it was either. "Karpos. Karpos Sydlia." He introduced in the same manner that she had to him, short simple and to the point. His name now stated.

Amber was graced with a name to call the male and then she calmed down. She was asked to prove this was her home so she would. "The cave I have lived in for my life is right over there." She said motioning her her tail towards the cave she had departed out of, the direction at least. The cave was about a mile away from here. An easy journey back. "My entire family is buried right where your standing." She also said, the pure white pups that she had to bury just after birth. Her two parents who's bones still remained in the poorly dug tomb covered with dirt.

Amber's eyes gently gazed to the male, not locking with his. Locking eyes was considered a sever sign of disrespect. Anything meant towards the male was with neutrality. She wondered how he would respond to finding out that he was standing on a bunch of dead wolves. She stepped out of the shadows and gracefully walked in circles around him. A snicker with amusement as she went about. So this was the high and mighty Karpos that he thought he was.

Arietta padded into the dusty terra. Her gaze dawned upon two wolves, a brute and a fae. The white wolf tensed, continuing to have cold sweat on her nose and biting the upper side up of lip. She was frozen in fear. As she finally gained some courage, the first thing she did, was slip quietly into a bush. "H-H-Hello." She called out from inside the bush.

The female did not know what to do, run away? Wait for their response? Well, she couldn't do anything anyway. Even though she was out of sight range, she was still nervous around the two wolves.

Karpos heard a weak hello come from the sidelines after the female told him that he was standing on her family. He saw no reason to not believe the female now, but he still did not trust her. He narrowed his eyes, the stuttering led him to believe this was a weaker wolf then he was. "Show yourself." He demanded to the wolf, his tail curled with dominance. He did not mind Amber, for Amber was an equal to him for now. This other wolf, they had better submit. They had better curl their tail towards their belly and show that Karpos was superior to them.

The scents told him this newer wolf was a female. This intrigued him and made him wonder why this wolf was even here. He also wondered why he was the only male at the party. He was a bit offended too, offended that this wolf was too much a coward. He did not like weaker beings, they made him sick. He snarled a warning that the wolf had better show themselves, or else he would attack them. He wanted to know what they were doing here. The snow cold on his feet. He watched Amber pace in circles around him as he stood still. The female was surrounding him with the circle.

Amber's gaze too switched over to the new comer to the scene. She had much respect for Karpos at the moment, he had heard the voice too. Her fragile and weak mind thought over all the events. She had been too broken for too long. She wondered how many times could she break until she shattered. She was a troubled girl. "What is your business here?" She added onto Karpos' question.

She too raised her tail to be a dominant figure here, her hackles were raised. She saw any new wolf as a threat. especially if they were hiding from view. That made them more suspicious. The wonders of this life were too much to bare. Here came another wold card, another wolf to judge after at least two years of solitary confinement. Nothing bu the dead to talk to were here.

She directed her gaze into the direction the the noise. Her nose scenting around, catching whiffs of another female. But where was she hiding. She narrowed down her options and she started to stare intently at the bush.

Karpos snarled again at the female, he wasn't afraid to leap, yet he held back, letting her have her ten minutes of fame that would end with a bloody fight. "You dare ask me such questions you d not answer yourself." He snarled at her, through with all of the horrors of life. He leapt for the fae's muzzle, aiming to snatch it up and bite it down, he would demand submission from the wolf in the bushes. That was how it would always remain too. She wouldn't change his own personalities. His bi-polar attitudes counteracted here. He had shown his nice side to Amber, yet his fierce side to the new wolf.

He ended up diving into the bush, a snarl of insanity as he aimed to grab a firm hold on her muzzle. This was going to be settled now. He was in control here and she would submit or they would fight until she submitted, or until one of them died. He was fine with either of the options. He was confident that because of his strategic moves, brute strength and size, that he would win this fight regardless.

Arietta's eyes grew dull. Her reflexes overpowered her body as her head turned and held firm grip to the males legs. She wasn't in control of her own body. She had been overpowered by her black swan, her dark side. The female snapped at the males leg. Creaking its bone, her dark side felt to torture this wolf, let it remain and let his die with a silent and slow death. She played with her opponent, creaking his bone as she didn't snap it in half yet. Her spirit inside was sad but her body was with bloodlust. Arietta fought against her dark side as it tried toyed with Karpos. The black swan was dealing with both Ari's spirit mentally and Kapor physically. Ari was trying to convince it to stop.

(I'm guessing we should end this in a tie?)

Amber’s eyes lit up with a fierce determination as she gazed upon them both. She was nervous to say the least, nervous about all of this. This situation did not appear to be the brightest or the best here. Her tail relaxed a bit, she cast a warning glance at Karpos, this fae was more then she appeared. She let a small growl emit from her throat, her amber eyes gazing with anger. Then she was calm, the wolf knew what was going to happen, or rather, what she knew she didn’t want to happen. She believed that there would be a fight between the two.

She backed away slowly, she had to be cautious. “It’s been great to meet you both, but I really must be departing now.” She said, her nose scenting around for any bits of prey scattered around. The scent of vole she soon began to follow. I hope that both of them can work out their differences, especially not through fighting. I just felt too much tension back there. I had to leave. She thought to herself. She forgot the vole and ran, just ran to get away from the other wolves.

She relaxed when she was fairly far away from the others, her tail curled around her as she formed herself into a ball. After all, a ball would keep her warm in these winter weathers. Winter weathers were nearly the death of her one year and she learned to adapt to them quickly. That was the life of a loner though. It was never-ending.

Arietta was about to snap the brutes leg when she snapped out of the other side. She let go of the males foot, growing a bit worried. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"She whined. The snowy white wolf started growling at herself. I should have known that it would happen!"she sighed.

M-My name is Arietta Vaguela. The one that you saw that tried to kill you was Kagura Zoefena."said the wolf. "Sorry...she can get....harsh."
